Frequently asked questions
How do I add audio to a tile?
Long-press a tile to configure it, then choose Choose from Files to import an audio file, or Import from Music Library to copy a song from your iPad's Music library. Imported audio is stored inside the app so it always plays reliably.
Can I set cue points and fades?
Yes. In a tile's configuration you'll find a waveform where you can drag the cue-in and out points, plus sliders for fade in, fade out, volume, and looping. Turn on Cue Preview to hear a short sample as you move a marker.
How do I move everything to another iPad?
Open Settings and use Export Configuration (with Include Audio Files switched on) to create a backup file, then transfer it to the other iPad and use Import Configuration. This copies your scenes, tiles, settings, and audio.
My Bluetooth speaker cuts off the start of a track.
In Settings → Audio Output, enable Keep Bluetooth Connected and Bluetooth Wake Pulse. The wake pulse plays a brief, low tone every few minutes while idle so the speaker's amplifier stays awake and doesn't clip the first note.
What does the subscription cost?
AudioBoard Pro is £19.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. It unlocks the full app.
How do I start the free trial or subscribe?
On first launch you'll see the subscription screen. Tap Start Free Trial (or Subscribe if you've used your trial before) and confirm with your Apple ID. With a free trial, you won't be charged until the trial ends.
How do I restore my subscription on a new iPad?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the app, and tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen (or in Settings).
How do I redeem a complimentary access code?
On the subscription screen tap Have an access code? (or use Redeem Access Code in Settings), then enter the code you were given.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, select AudioBoard, and cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the current paid period.
