Privacy Policy

AudioBoard does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app runs entirely on your device.

In short: your scenes, tiles, settings, and audio files stay on your iPad. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party. We could not access your data even if we wanted to, because AudioBoard has no back-end service.

Information we collect

None. AudioBoard does not gather personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

Data stored on your device

To do its job, AudioBoard saves the following locally on your iPad only:

Your scenes, tiles, and their settings.
Audio files you import (copied into the app's private storage).
App preferences, and your subscription or complimentary-access status.

This information never leaves your device unless you choose to export it (see below).

Music library access

If you choose to import a song from your device's Music library, AudioBoard asks for permission to access your media library. This permission is used only to let you pick tracks and copy the ones you select into the app for local playback. AudioBoard does not read your library for any other purpose and does not transmit any library information anywhere.

Bluetooth

AudioBoard uses Bluetooth solely to display the name and type of your connected audio output device. No Bluetooth data is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Files you import

Audio you add from the Files app is copied into AudioBoard's local storage so it can be played reliably. These files remain on your device.

Export and backup

The export feature creates a backup file containing your scenes, settings, and audio. This file is only shared where you direct it using the standard iOS share sheet (for example, saving to Files or AirDropping to another iPad). AudioBoard does not upload it anywhere.

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments for the AudioBoard Pro subscription are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. AudioBoard never sees or stores your payment details. Your subscription status is provided to the app on-device by Apple's StoreKit; we do not collect or retain any purchase history on our own systems. Complimentary access codes are validated on your device; redeeming one simply sets a local flag.

Background audio

AudioBoard can continue playing audio when the app is in the background or the screen is locked. This does not involve any data collection.

Third parties

AudioBoard contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It makes no network requests to us or to third parties.

Children

AudioBoard does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
